Description<br />
The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, revise, and finalize High-Definition Commercial Free-To-Guest (HD-FTG) video systems projects and commercial installations according to predetermined deadlines, budget requirements and HD-FTG product specifications.  This includes, but is not limited to, identifying and acquiring appropriate resources, managing day-to-day operational aspects, coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors/consultants, and applying our company methodology and standard set in order to install HD-FTG systems at commercial customer sites.  Additionally, the Project Manager will define the commercial project’s objectives and working with internal departments will ensure HD-FTG systems are properly supported and maintained. </p>
<p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p>
<p><strong>Project Management</strong><br />
•	Works with the Director of Video Operations to develop from beginning to end, full scale project work plans for PureHD’s HD-FTG platforms and systems.<br />
•	Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using necessary tools, effectively communicate project expectations to internal team members and outside stakeholders.<br />
•	Identify and source the proper services and equipment needed and assign individual contractor responsibilities to successfully deploy the different HD-FTG platforms.<br />
•	Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documents, and presentations as requested.<br />
•	Draft and submit budget proposals, determine appropriate revenue recognition, ensure timely and accurate invoicing, and monitor payables for all assigned projects.<br />
•	Effectively apply our methodology and enforce project standards while maintaining installation timelines and budgets.<br />
•	Minimize our exposure and risk on project, proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise cost effective contingency plans.<br />
•	Continue design and cost engineering efforts to maximize productivity and profitability.<br />
•	Identify business development and &#8220;add-on&#8221; sales opportunities as they relate to a specific project and communicate them to proper sales channels.<br />
•	Build and maintain a knowledge base of each client&#8217;s business, organization, needs, objectives and key contacts, continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.<br />
•	Possess strong management and organizational skills.  Organize and train other internal departments to maintain FTG skill sets for support and ongoing maintenance of HD-FTG platforms.<br />
•	Perform quality assurance testing after third-party contractors’ complete commercial HD-FTG system installation.<br />
•	Some travel required, estimate 50% &#8211; 75% initially, steadily declining to 10-25%.</p>
<p><strong>Technical Skill Sets </strong><br />
•	Possess a thorough understanding of PureHD’s capabilities and demonstrate sound project management skills.<br />
•	Proficiency with Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio.<br />
•	MUST have proficient knowledge and skills in the numerous broadcast, cable, and satellite delivery/reception disciplines.<br />
•	MUST have advanced knowledge of MATV/CATV coax (digital preferred) cabling plant infrastructure and its associated passive/active components.<br />
•	MUST be able to troubleshoot HD-FTG systems and provide timely, effective repair.<br />
•	Understand different types of test equipment for troubleshooting and maintaining HD-FTG platforms.<br />
•	Experience with RF, 8VSB and QAM (analog/digital) modulation formats.<br />
•	Basic understanding of networking technologies to include Ethernet, TCP/IP, Switches, Routers and Remote Access products.<br />
•	Knowledge of MPEG, video streaming, and Pro:Idiom encryption standards.<br />
•	Ability to setup, configure, install, maintain, and troubleshoot video systems.<br />
•	Strong knowledge of the TV industry with an emphasis in the hospitality arena.<br />
•	Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client engagements up to and including HD-FTG IPTV delivery systems.</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong><br />
•	A college diploma or combination of relevant education and work experience is a must.<br />
•	MS Project skills<br />
•	PMI certification strongly preferred but not required.<br />
•	Exhibit problem solver tendencies while working independently and as a team member.<br />
•	Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision in an environment that is constantly changing.<br />
•	MUST possess excellent verbal and written communication aptitude.<br />
•	Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects from a remote location.<br />
•	French fluency is a bonus.</p>

•	September 2009</p>
<p><strong>Salary</strong><br />
•	Salary based upon experience &#8211; $50-80,000</p>
